The Regie Launches Guiding Seminars in the South and Purchases Bekaa Harvest

In South, the Regie had launched its guidance program for 2017 season. Meetings were arranged with tobacco farmers and agricultural seminars were held; the last was in Houla, Marje’ioun, in which more than 100 farmers participated. Engineer Waseem Toros offered necessary agricultural tips about the right ways to start seedbed and preserve seedling from diseases and insects.

 

In Bekaa, the Regie had started receiving the harvest of 2016 through three purchasing committees that are expected to last a whole month.
