Eradicating Child Labor: Regie participates in guiding seminar on the protection of children's rights

The Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs (Regie), in cooperation with Patriotic Vision (PVA) and the Municipality of Yanouh, organized a guiding seminar under the title of “Eradicating Child Labor” in the presence of Regie representative Hussien El Husseini, Head of Yanouh Municipality Ali Jaber, President of PVA organization Qassem Safa and a number of citizens from Yanouh.

The seminar, which is part of a series of activities organized by PVA in Yanouh, was presented by Expert Hassan Bahani, who is a specialist in children’s rights.

In this regard, expert Bahani presented a number of points that explain means of contributing to the protection of children, starting from hard work and efforts pertaining to education, behavioral and ethical risks that result from child labor and the necessity of forming special protection networks for small communities. 

Following his presentation, Bahani answered few questions addressed to him by the attendees.

For his part, Mr. Safa expressed his gratitude to all the attendees who participated in the seminar, promising further activities and cooperation with Regie and Yanouh Municipality to develop the social life of all citizens in Lebanon.

Following the seminar, all participants received medications and agricultural equipment from the Regie.
