Regie starts purchasing tobacco harvest from South Lebanon, specifies dates to receive harvest from the North and Bekaa

La Régie Libanaise des Tabacs & Tombacs (Regie), announced that it started on Thursday (November 09) the purchase of tobacco harvest from South Lebanon, adding that the purchase from North Lebanon will commence on Monday, November 13 and from Bekaa in mid-January 2018.

The Regie specified 10 centers in South Lebanon to receive the harvest, 3 in North Lebanon, and 3 in Bekaa. The centers are divided as follows:

• Committee 1 in Nabatieh to receive the harvest of Nabatieh

• Committee 2 in Nabatieh to receive harvest of Nabatieh, Sidon, Tyr, Jezzine, and Shouf

• Committee 3 in Siddikine to receive the harvest of Tyr and Bent Jbeil

• Committee 4 in Tebnin and Al-Souwana to receive the harvest of Bent Jbeil and Marjayoun

• Committee 5 in Srifa to receive the harvest of Tyr and Bent Jbeil

• Committee 6 in Rmeich to receive the harvest of Bent Jbeil

• Committee 11 in Aitaroun to receive the harvest of Bent Jbeil

• Committee 12 in Meis El Jabal to receive the harvest of Marjayoun

• Committee 14 in Aita El Shaab to receive the harvest of Bent Jbel

• Committee 15 in Zahia to receive the harvest of Tyr

• Committees 7, 8 and 16 in Tripoli to receive the harvest of North Lebanon

• Committees 9, 10, and 13 in Bekaa to receive the harvest of Bekaa
