Eng. Seklaoui, Maj. Gen. Kheir and deputies visit tobacco planting towns, meet with farmers

The Director General of La Régie Libanaise des Tabacs & Tombacs (Regie) Engineer Nassif Seklaoui along with Higher Relief Council Chief Major General Mohammed Kheir and a delegation visited certain towns where tobacco plants were highly damaged by the climatic change. Deputies Ayoub Hmayed, Hassan Fadlallah and Ali Bazzi joined the visit to the towns of Aitaroun, Rmeich, Aita El-Jabal, El-Bustan, and Yareen.

During the visit, the delegation met with heads of municipalities, and farmers, and Eng. Seklaoui, Maj. Gen. Kheir and deputies delivered speeches.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held in the town of El-Bustan and was attended by the heads of neighboring towns, and farmers. During this meeting which was also attended by Deputy Hussein Jeshi, each of Eng. Seklaoui and Maj. Gen. Kheir and the head of El-Bustan municipality delivered a speech.
