In cooperation with the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, the Regie organized its fifth annual Senior Staff Meeting, during which the Regie’s President and General Director Eng. The two-day event was held at the Mist Hotel in Ehden, under the title “Leading Leadership Patterns for Institutional Culture in a Changing Time”. The meeting is one of a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership behavior at the Regie and supporting its senior staff in keeping up with the changes of the 21st century.
In his opening speech, Seklaoui noted that "the friendship between IFBF and the Regie has resulted in improvements in various fields”. He said that this five years long training experience should be taken as a model for other organizations. He said that each leader in the Regie took part in “the achievements, notably the industrial achievements and the anti-smuggling conference”. The President of the IFBF, Mrs. Lamia’a AlMoubaied Bsat underlined the importance of the annual meetings “in improving the institutional performance” and the Regie’s vision in this field. She explained that “improving the performance of institutions starts from tangible components to working on procedures, quality, and technical training, and finally to improving institutional performance based on human capabilities, establishing institutional values, and unifying the vision”.
“The task of improving the performance and building the mindset of performance becomes easier once the organization adopt a vision, as is the case of the Regie, despite what it faces of challenges and changes in the dynamics of the sector and markets”, she added.
