Regie announces start of tobacco purchase from Bekaa

La Régie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs (Regie), announced that the purchase of the 2018 tobacco harvest from Bekaa had started, adding that 3 purchase committees are handling the process for 30 days in Baalbek.
In this regard, the Head of the Agriculture Department and Purchase of Bekaa region, Engineer Hassan Hamade visited the 3 committees to follow up on the purchase process and was accompanied by the head and members of the order of tobacco farmers in Bekaa.
During his visit, Eng. Hamade stressed on the continuous coordination between Regie and the said order to better serve all the farmers and hoped that the upcoming year will be fruitful for all of them.
