Seklaoui receives the head of Tobacco Farmers Syndicate

The Regie’s Director General, his Excellency Mr. Nassif Seklaoui, has received the Vice-President of the General Confederation of Lebanese Workers and the President of Tobacco Farmer Syndicate, Mr. Hassan Fakih, where they have extensively discussed the matter of tobacco growing in the three governorates of the South, Bekaa, and North, as well as the suffering of farmers and the high cost of the agriculture. The Director General has expressed his willingness to cooperate with unions in order to relief the suffering of the employee facing the economic crisis that affects Lebanese farms and particularly tobacco farms. At the end of the meeting, Fakih thanked the Director General for his understanding of the demands. He has stressed the importance of the continuous cooperation for the benefit of the agriculture and the farmers.
