Regie to hold certificate ceremony for 105 females who participated in women empowerment trainings;Ms. Randa Assi Berri to host the event

La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs announced that Mrs. Randa Assi Berri will be hosting an event at the headquarters of Regie in Hadath on the 20th of March.

During the event, 105 of the daughters of tobacco farmers will be given certificates for participating in women empowerment training sessions organized by Regie in cooperation with Spring Board Program in a number of towns across Bekaa, South Lebanon and North Lebanon.

Consequently, the Executive Director of Spring Board Program, Ms. Karen Dali Ghourabi, announced that she will be coming from the UK to attend the ceremony which is part of other activities that will be held during “Women’s month”.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that the trainings organized by Regie aim at enhancing the role of the working woman as they empower her to have more courage, self-confidence and self-appreciation, and help her have a positive impact on her surroundings as well as an impact on herself personally and professionally.

Meanwhile, the Regie had concluded these trainings by a workshop held at the hall of Yater municipality in February. The workshop was attended by 17 females and was chaired by trainer Lina Shawqi. It also included an intervention from the Head of Yater Municipality Mr. Khalil Kourani and another from the Social Affairs Center of Jibal Al-Bottom Ms. Hanan Sleiman.

Other trainings were previously held in Aitaroun, Douris, Al-Hisa, and Al-Qsaybeh.
