The Sports Committee of Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs

As part of society, Regie participates in various sports activities through The Sports Society of the Lebanese Tobacco and Tunbac Monopoly Department (Regie). The main objective of the Committee is to sponsor sport events, including football, beach football, pigeon husbandry and plate shooting. The Committee has received several prizes and provides financial and expert support to several sports clubs.

Notable Achievements:

Winning Lebanon’s beach football championship in 2010/2011, 2011/2012 and 2013/2014
Conducting an annual shooting contest for Regie laborers since 1990
Participation in the Foundation's shooting championship
Conducting games at Regie in honor of National Day
Participation in athletics contests in Tunisia, Egypt and Syria
Organizing recreational tours within Lebanon.
Participation in marathons in Beirut Tyre and Tripoli.
Providing financial aid to:
- Green Lebanon – Funded the purchase of two helicopters
- The Lebanese Army – During the battles of Nahr Al Bared
- Renovation of the Al Ansar playground
- Past assistance to certain Lebanese foundations

Organizing the Landscape Day ceremony under the sponsorship of H.E. the General Manager and attendance of the Lebanese Army Commander’s representative.
Honoring past members of the sports society
Honoring the winners of external and internal championships
Presenting rewards to winners of sporting competitions
Providing protective jackets to shooters bearing the Department’s logo
Winning the first Army Commando’s Race
