Laborer Affairs to the Modern Administration of HR
Due to the belief that its workers are a resource and are vital to the Department, Regie put in place a comprehensive strategy for developing human resources (HR). Regie is the first public facility that approved HR management instead, instead of a traditional Labors Affairs approach. The project is a long term system, but the most important activities completed up to date are:

• The creation of a new, modern administration structure, the first of its kind in the public and the private sector in order to deal with job cuts from 1748 to 671. The vacant positions were filled through recruitment through modern employment mechanisms.

• Establishing internal systems compatible both labor and social security laws that respect the rights of both the administration and labors.

• Establishing a performance culture through linking evaluation with the job performance.

• Establishing programs for managing talent, creativeness and initiative and strengthening a culture of command and innovation.

• Fostering and developing human resources through training, learning and an education culture in the long term. The administration established a training plan to cover the administrative needs, which has trained more than 800 staff free of charge, within Lebanon and abroad, through cooperation deals with educational bodies.
