Regie representatives visit President Berry

The President General Manager, Nassif Seklaoui, the members of the committee, Issam Salman and Mazen Abboud, the Government Commissioner, Mirna Baz, and the Financial Controller, Carol Youssef, visited the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Nabih Berri this afternoon, at the second presidency site in Ain al-Tineh. The delegation discussed with the President the challenges of the institution and its obstacles.

President Berri promised to help eliminate these obstacles to ensure the sustainability of the profitable institution that provide the treasury with revenues and secure social stability for a large number of farmers.

The board shared a presentation of the project with the Lebanese American University that aims at achieving an economic feasibility study on the cultivation of Indian cannabis for medical and industrial purposes in the Bekaa, in light of its potential impact on the economic life and the improvement of the agricultural paths for a product that may represent a turning point in the country's life.

Finally, the delegation thanked the President for his constant support for the Regie.
