A “thank you” letter from Al Bustan Municipality
Upon the generous initiative of the Director General of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, and under his guidance, the restoration and rehabilitation of the social hall commenced in Al-Arab neighborhood of Babliyeh. The hall, spanning an area of approximately 300 square meters, serves the residents of Al-Bustan, many of whom are engaged in tobacco cultivation. This undertaking was initiated in response to a request made by the Mayor of Al-Bustan, Adnan Al-Ahmad, several months ago to Eng. Seklaoui.
The restoration efforts encompassed various aspects, including structural repairs, painting, insulation, and the installation of sunroof prevention measures. Funding for these endeavors was graciously provided by the JTI company. In light of this, the residents of the Al-Arab neighborhood and Al-Bustan extend their heartfelt thanks to Mayor Adnan Al-Ahmad and the entire Al-Bustan Municipality. They also express profound gratitude for the generosity and dedication demonstrated by Eng. Nassif Sekloui and his team. Additionally, sincere appreciation is extended to the funding company JTI, with special acknowledgement to Ms. Grant, Mr. Muhammad Jaber, Mr. Hadi Suleiman, Mr. Qasim Kaouk and all those who contributed to the successful realization of this initiative.

Special gratitude is also directed towards engineer Abdel Mawla El Mawla for his instrumental role in supervising the initiation of work on the irrigation canal, spanning over two thousand meters, a part of which was generously allocated to us by your esteemed organization in 2017.
With your ongoing support, we are embarking on the next phase of this project, with funding provided by the JTI company. The people of the town, alongside tobacco farmers and mayors, express sincere thanks for the generosity and dedicated efforts of Eng. Nassif Seklaoui and his team. Under the leadership and guidance of the Director General of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, efforts have commenced to restore and rehabilitate the pond in the town of Rashkananiya, responding to a request submitted, several months ago, by the Mayor, Ahmed Abdel Karim, to Eng. Seklaoui. The funding for this project has been graciously provided by the JTI company.
Accordingly, our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, Engineer Abdel Mawla Al Mawla, and all those collaborating on this endeavor.
