Photos will be reviewed and evaluated by a professional jury who will select the best photos in three categories for the First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize. 


All images are judged ‘blind’. This means every single image that you upload is critiqued by the jury, but they won’t know who the photographer is until they have decided the finalists and winners.

Globally recognized, photographer Roger Moukarzel has been working in the world of image since he was 15 years old.

In the early 80s, he started as a war photographer for the respected Sygma and Reuters and had his work published in a variety of newspapers and magazines worldwide. In the early 90s, he moved to Paris, and his career expanded and progressed, into the worlds of fashion and advertising, documentary-making and artistic photography.

Roger Moukarzel Launched his own production house, Minime, which has become one of the most trusted and respected in the Middle East. 

Mourkarzel today could be best described as a veteran in story-telling through pictures and multi-media.

Sirine Fattouh is a Lebanese artist and researcher born in 1980 and living between Paris and Beirut. Interested

 

Fattouh holds a PhD in Visual Arts and Aesthetics from the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne (UFR04) and a Master degree from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts of Paris Clergy (ENSAPC). She taught Visual Arts at the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and is affiliated with the Research Center in Visual Arts

 

Fattouh has exhibited her work in group shows and solo exhibitions such as Centre Pompidou (Metz, France), MAXXI Museum (Rome, Italy) and others.

Patrick Baz is a French-Lebanese photographer, born in Beirut in 1963. 

Baz started his work as a freelance photojournalist.. In 1989, Baz covered the First Intifada. He also covered the First Gulf War in 1991, and other conflicts in other regions. He is AFP’s (Agence France-Presse) photo manager for the MENA region.

Baz has twice been a member of the World Press Photo jury, and has been a World Press Photo tutor. He has also served on the juries of the Bayeux Calvados Award for War Correspondents, among others. In 2009, he published his Iraq war photos in a book entitled Don’t Take My Picture, Iraqis Don’t Cry. Baz has twice won a POYi award.

Lynn Dagher picked up her first camera when she was five years old. Retracing her passion to both of her parents who have always appreciated arts, she refined her skills during her studies in Audiovisual Arts. She graduated from Notre-Dame University, Lebanon in 2016.

As a photographer and videographer, Lynn is mainly interested in documenting people within spaces. It is important for her to firstly establish an interaction with the central figures of her shoots and their surroundings in order to capture these instances. Alternating between colorful everyday life photographs, glamour shoots and between stark portraits, Lynn has a taste for showing the diverse around her.
